In Lisbon, Portugal, on February 28th, Immersa Global’s President and Founder, Sheree M. Mitchell, was invited to join a panel of industry thought leaders to discuss wine tourism in Portugal from the American travel curator’s perspective.
Mitchell shared the panel with Luís Araújo, President of Turismo de Portugal (the National Tourism Board of Portugal), Tomás Froes, Founder of Partners (a local marketing firm), and Duarte Leal da Costa, master winemaker and owner of Ervideira Winery. The moderator for the panel was local Portuguese journalist and author, Maria João de Almeida.
The panel was a part of a larger event held to celebrate the launch of the new international digital marketing campaign titled: Wine Pairs with Portugal. The campaign was created to promote Portugal’s wine tourism in key international markets which includes the United States of America.
