Dear Members and Friends
It is hard to believe that I took over the Presidency of this wonderful organization almost one year ago.
Our last quarter was a busy one as we kicked off September with a political talk featuring guest speakers Senator Anitere Flores and Former Commissioner Katy Sorenson. Our ladies rocked their sneakers to Race for the Cure and then destressed during our Wine and Unwind event in October. We enjoyed Aha! Moments during an informative panel discussion in November and ended our year with a bang at the New World Symphony! During our last board meeting of the year, we rolled up our sleeves and stuffed goodie bags for the young ladies at Kristi House.
As I reflect on our accomplishments, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my board. The relationship I have with each of these women is priceless and I could not have pictured a successful 2013 without their insight, wit, and dedication. As we wind down 2013, I’d like to also thank you, our members, for without your support our programs would not be possible.
The New Year brings us all an opportunity to start on a clean slate, a chance to reflect on the challenges we faced this year and how we will turn them into positives next year. As the Chamber enters its 30th year, I am thrilled for what 2014 has in store and the great milestones we’ll reach under Naomi Berry’s leadership! Wishing you and yours happy holidays!
As always, happy lifting!
